The work involved in making a mosaic of such small scale is incredible and has been daunting me for the last few years as I keep on postponing trying out this type of mosaic work (with themes less classical and more glam).

Have a great week!

  1. They are so incredibly detailed, quite beautiful.
Oh what does peplum mean in Greek? I took Ancient Greek 20 years ago but remember nothing!

  2. Wow! You are working on beautiful micromosaics now? It seems like a coincidence to me that I will take a short class next month on micromosaic in Austin Texas from Antonella G. (who works at Orsoni, of course, haha).

Sometimes you seem more like me than *I* am like me... Always one or two steps ahead, and as a woman, an obviously better sense of style.

  3. Hi Eric, I am postponing the project though I did make something in the past as an experiment and would love to start all over again. You are lucky to be able to take courses and renew your skills. I think it is you who is more "me" than I am me from a mosaic perspective. I think I may need encouragement. My student believes in me.

  4. These pieces would absolutely give extra points to any dress! Perfect touch, so feminine.
